Orinoco Website Terms of Use
Effective date: September 7, 2026
These Terms of Use govern your use of deorinoco.com (the "Site"), operated by Orinoco Group, LLC ("Orinoco," "we," "us," or "our"). They apply only to the Site and do not replace any proposal, purchase order, subcontract, teaming agreement, nondisclosure agreement, or other written agreement.
Agreement to these terms
By using the Site or submitting its contact form, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or submit the form.
Website purpose; no business relationship
The Site provides general information about Orinoco and its capabilities and offers a way to make an inquiry. Site content is not a bid, quote, offer to perform services, promise of availability, or professional advice. Sending or receiving a message does not create a client, contractor, subcontractor, teaming, fiduciary, confidential, exclusive, or other business relationship, and it does not obligate either party to proceed with an opportunity.
Proposals and written agreements
Any services, deliverables, pricing, schedules, confidentiality duties, data-security requirements, intellectual-property rights, warranties, or other commitments must be stated in a separate written agreement signed by authorized representatives. If these Terms conflict with a signed agreement, solicitation requirement, or applicable procurement rule, that other document or rule controls for the matter it covers.
Contact form and sensitive information
Provide information that is accurate and that you are authorized to share. Do not send classified information, controlled unclassified information, export-controlled technical data, trade secrets, account credentials, health or financial records, or other sensitive information through the general contact form. Contact Orinoco first to establish an appropriate authorized channel. Our Privacy Notice explains how ordinary inquiry information is handled.
Acceptable use
You may use the Site only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- Misrepresent your identity or authority.
- Attempt unauthorized access to the Site, its systems, or another person's information.
- Introduce malicious code, interfere with operation or security, or circumvent protective controls.
- Use automated means in a way that overloads, damages, or materially disrupts the Site. Ordinary search-engine indexing is permitted.
- Use Site content or Orinoco's name, logo, or marks in a misleading manner or to imply endorsement without written permission.
Intellectual property
The Site, its original text, graphics, logos, design, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Orinoco and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view and make a reasonable internal copy of Site content solely to evaluate Orinoco or a potential business opportunity. No other license is granted. Legal rights that cannot be restricted, including applicable fair-use rights, remain unaffected.
Third-party services and links
The Site may link to third-party websites or rely on third-party infrastructure. Those services are governed by their own terms and practices. A link does not mean that Orinoco controls or endorses the third party, and Orinoco is not responsible for third-party content or availability.
Disclaimers and availability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site is provided "as is" and "as available." Orinoco does not promise that the Site will always be available, secure, error-free, or complete. We may correct, update, suspend, or remove Site content at any time. Do not rely on Site content as a substitute for a formal scope, signed agreement, solicitation, regulation, or advice from a qualified professional.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Orinoco Group, LLC and its members, employees, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or business opportunities, arising solely from use of or inability to use the Site. These Terms do not limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute concerning only the Site or these Terms must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in North Carolina, unless applicable law or a controlling written agreement requires otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the Site or our practices change. The revised Terms apply from the effective date posted here. We will provide a more prominent notice when a change materially affects Site users.
